The story of Officine Zorzo

Officine Zorzo srl was founded in 1977, thanks to the passion and enthusiasm of its founder Severino Zorzo, who, after twenty years of experience as a worker in Italian companies and in particular in the German company “Gildemaister,” which was extremely formative, decided to start the entrepreneur’s “adventure” with a small traditional milling machine.

In 1982 as a result of ‘increased production he decided to build a new factory, assisted in the management by his sons, in Villa del Conte at 29 Craftsman Street. In 1992, the business expanded and mechanical work was joined by ‘carpentry activities, devoting itself to the construction of medium-heavy carpentry as well as to the supply of bulkheads, casings and accident protectors.

In 2009, construction began on the current new building, located at 9 Maestri del Lavoro Street, also in Villa del Conte, where the company now operates, uniting machining and mechanical construction under a single site of 7000 square meters.

In 2017, the management initiated a new expansion project. An additional 4500 square meters dedicated to the Carpentry department and a covered loading/unloading area will be available by mid-2019.
